Contexta for Claude and ChatGPT

Contexta keeps your company context, the links to your knowledge base and your skills in one place, and delivers them to Claude, ChatGPT and the other AI tools your team uses. This page explains how to connect it and what it does once it’s connected.
What Contexta Does
Contexta is a company context and skills management platform. It holds the skills that run your business: the written methods for jobs like proposals, reports and pipeline updates, with your company’s terminology and conventions. Your AI uses them when a task calls for them, so the work comes out the way your company does it.
What You Can Do
- Find the skills your organisation has, and use the right one for a task.
- Follow a skill’s steps, format and templates.
- Apply your organisation’s terminology, naming and conventions.
- Work within company, team and personal spaces.
- See a skill’s version history and what changed.
- Save new draft skills and update existing ones, if you’re an admin or editor.
Before You Connect
You need a Contexta account. Talk to us and we’ll get you set up. If you already have one, sign in here. Creating or changing skills needs an admin or editor role.
Connect in Claude
- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Find Contexta in the directory and select Connect. If Contexta isn’t listed for your account yet, choose Add custom connector and paste the connection URL from your Contexta dashboard.
- Sign in with your work email and approve access.
Connect in ChatGPT
- Open the plugin directory, find Contexta and select Connect.
- Sign in with your work email and approve access.
- If Contexta isn’t listed for your workspace yet, an admin can add it with the connection URL from your Contexta dashboard. Help has the steps.
Signing In
Contexta uses OAuth. You sign in on the Contexta screen with a one-time code sent to your work email, then approve access. You can disconnect at any time from your AI app’s connector settings.

| “Save this checklist as a new draft skill in our Sales space.” | Contexta creates a draft that your team won’t see until it’s published. |
Privacy
Contexta stores your skills, your conventions and your account details. Your documents stay in your own storage, such as SharePoint or Google Drive. Read the Privacy Policy and Security and Data for the detail.
Troubleshooting
- Contexta shows as disconnected: disconnect it in your AI app, then connect again.
- You can’t see a skill: ask your admin to check your access.
- Something else: see Help.
